Annual Financial Report
Prepare Annual Report each year for small student organization (non-profit). Report includes organization's activities and contributions, statement of activities, and profit & loss per fundraising activity. Preparation for the annual report included: cash flow analysis, bank and cash on-hand reconciliation, inventory, accounting for membership dues, supplies, donations, and other expenditures.
Webinar Panelist
Introduction to QuickBooks Basic webinar panelist. Presented features and "how to" steps to audience of 40-50 participants. Conducted Q&A session during webinar. Replied to additional questions submitted in chat box during webinar in a Q&A email sent out to each participant.
QuickBooks ProAdvisor
Provide QuickBooks advisory services to small businesses preparing for DCAA accounting system compliance. Assisted clients with setting up accounting system; reviewed and setup accounting processes; Trained clients in QuickBooks workflows.
Book Cleanup
Cleanup client's bookkeeping; correcting errors, reconciling accounts, setting up accounting processes and systems, creating and preparing up-to-date financial reports.
Volunteer Database
Project called for a way to track and accumulate volunteer hours worked by student's family members. A certain number of volunteer hours were required of each student's family. Family members would volunteer to help out at events, on field trips, in the classroom, or in the office. The required hours were necessary in order for the student to receive a lower tuition rate.
Microsoft Access a desktop database program was used to design and create a user friendly system of maintaining family basic information and volunteer hours. The system is menu driven with three input screens, three management reports, and the ability to view information. A menu driven system allows for easy input and maintenance. An instruction manual was also created.
Leadership Training
Set-up and organized training sessions for student organization officers. Training included: teambuilding activities, leadership roles and responsibilities.
