Client Onboarding
Created client onboarding training program to help clients learn how to use learning management system (LMS). In-person and online group sessions were held along with one-on-one tutoring. Concepts of the online LMS were covered, along with navigating the system, how to upload assignments, replying to posts, and LMS support tools, i.e. media recordings, online library, developing writing techniques, and understanding the online communications environment.
QUICKBOOKS Online Client Onboarding
Used Zoom, video conferencing system, to train client on various QuickBooks Online workflows - how to bill customers, receive payments from customers, pay bills, reconcile accounts, run reports, and payroll.
Set-up Accounting System + Monthly on-going Services
Set-up computerized accounting systems: customers, vendors, purchase orders, checks, bank accounts, reports, cash flow, and reports.

Taxpayer Assistance Solutions
In 2024, we launched a new service, "Taxpayer Assistance Solutions," geared towards assisting taxpayers in completing their tax returns. We start with the basic Tax Prep Checklist and build from there, through appointments, secure document uploads, and follow-up services. Our goal is to allow the taxpayer full control of their tax return along with providing excellent customer service.

Industry-specific processes
Worked with client to develop industry-specific accounting processes. Set up accounting systems for compliance using QuickBooks. Set-up and tested procedures, prepared step-by-step processes, researched and provided additional resources for client, trained bookkeeper / accountant in use of QuickBooks features, used sample company for testing before implementing into "live" accounting system. Assisted with preparing documentation for compliance.
Re-structure Accounting System
Set-up accounting system using QuickBooks for an existing QuickBooks user. QuickBooks not set-up properly with products, vendors, bank account, and reports. Created Excel spreadsheet to track small inventory items used in providing customer services. Monthly Review service to follow re-structure.
Business Plans
From the prospective owner's initial plan, finalized business plans for a catering business, bake shop, comedy club, event planner, and school-age reading program. Process included: research, financial analysis, feasibility study, preparing start-up costs, projections for profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Worked together with prospective owner to create final draft of business plan.
Member Contributions
This workbook was prepared using Microsoft Excel. It includes worksheets for each month, a summary year-to-date contribution worksheet, a member information worksheet and a documentation worksheet giving instructions on how to best use worksheets. The worksheets are interactive automatically inserting repetitive data (i.e. name) to reduce data redundancy. The Member Contributions workbook was created for a small organization which had been manually keeping track of member contributions, and, at the end of the year, calculations were completed manually for the member's annual contributions. This Member Contributions workbook, saves time in calculations. It automatically calculates member year-to-date contributions, as data is entered each week. This is a more accurate and efficient way of keeping track and reporting this type of information.
